Before 9/11, like every other kid, I didn't really care about politics, history, religion and culture. I was in the 8th grade at the time and I only cared about video games, the popular music, comic books and girls. But the moment I saw footage of the towers on the news, my life changed.
I remember I went home for lunch and while I ate some spaghetti that my mother had left me, I turned on the TV and it was already on a news channel. I didn't really understand what was going on. But it sparked my curiosity and made me want to know more about this and why would someone do this.
On my way back to school, I picked up a newspaper and see if there was anything related to this. That was the first time I actually read the newspaper. At school, I would join those who talking about politics. I started watching the news instead of watching some of the shows for teenagers I used to watch. I read books and searched the net when I didn't know something.
It didn't instantly change me, but it set me forth on the right tracks. It made me a lot more aware of the world we live in. It made me aware that we shouldn't blindly trust the government and that countries will fight for money. I'm not talking about people in a specific government, but about the various nations currently hungry for power. We should get our mind right and not let ourself get hypnotized by the various forms of the media.

ScrewAttack's Top 20 SNES Games

If you now feel like playing SNES games, go here to get an emulator. I personally use the Snes9x. You'll also need some ROMs to play but they are illegal so I can't tell you where to go. That means stop being lazy and Google!

The Best on YouTube
I was bored so I just decided to post a YouTube player that plays all of my favourites. By the way, the volume on these videos is not all equal and some videos may not be in English. Enjoy!
This should self-update as I add videos to my favourites on YouTube. Eventually, I will create new playlists so that funny random videos, serious educational videos and music videos don't get all mixed together. If you know a really dope video you think should be in here, just write a comment with a link to it.

Luna Remixed
Around March 2007, I started doing a visual style for XP and after months of on and off work, I'm finally done! The reason why I made this is because I just can't stand the default one on XP and the ones that I found online always had something that I didn't like. So I decided to make my own. I looked online on how to do it, what was needed and after a few weeks, I realized that this was a pain in the ass! That's why it took me so long... Anyways, enough talk. Here is Luna Remixed, my first and last visual style for XP.

If you never installed a visual style before, you'll need a modified uxtheme.dll file.
Go here to download a patch.

What is Hip-Hop?
Every now and then when I listen a lyrical track, there is always someone saying "This is real Hip-Hop!"... Ever since Nas released his eight album Hip Hop is Dead, fan have been more divided than ever! Some say rappers only talk about drugs and money while others say that no one wants to hear nerd stuff no more and so on and so on...
It seems like if everybody has forgot what Hip-Hop is all about...
Everybody knows about the four elements of Hip-Hop. Rapping, DJing, Graffiti and Breakdancing. But how many of you know what Hip-Hop represents?
Hip-Hop represents uplifting and elevation. Basically, what makes you cool. But you see... What you think uplifts you is different for everyone.
Some rappers rap about cars, girls and money while others rap about history, politics and philosophy. Some just want to uplift themselves while others want to uplift others.
It's all about taking care of yourself in the best way you think you can do. Whether it's selling drugs to make quick money or studying hard in school to have a good paying legit job. It's what you think elevates you into a better life.
So remember this next time you say that something is not Hip-Hop. It's not all about the lyrics.

Mummies Wanna Get High Too
Mummies Wanna Get High Too by ~edielflaco on deviantART
I made this a while back, in May I think. I had an old account on deviantART and reposted it a few weeks ago on the new one.
The story behind this drawing is that there this guy who was drawing this mummy smoking. The final product looked... amateurish. But I thought that the concept was dope. I then asked him if I could do my own drawing based on his idea and here it is!
Welcome to My World
Allright... This is my first post on my first blog... lol
So this blog is about me and my work. It's going to connect my MySpace page, my YouTube channel, my deviantART profile and any other account that I have and will have all together.
From here you will be updated to all of the things that I do on those sites and things that I don't do on those sites.
What do I do? Well I'm a creative person so I'm interested in various form of art. I draw with a pencil, I do pixel art, I have a skin for Windows XP coming up, I do stuff on Photoshop, like cleaning up pictures and arranging the lighting, or like colouring my drawings and I also do vector art.
I've also been doing music for a few months now and I'm trying my best to get good at it. Hopefully, I will start posting some beats or even full songs that I've done in the months to come. I mainly do Hip-Hop but I also want to experiment.
I also have a project that I've been doing on and off for a few years now. I doubt that I will ever have a final product because it requires a lot of work and it involves copyrighted characters. So either I work on it while I put my own money on it, putting a stop to my other stuff and not seeing a single dollar back; or I get famous and the owners to the character let's me do it and even finances it lol. You see why I don't think it will ever happen?
Anyways, I'll shut up now. Enough talking. This is suppose to be a post, not a novel... lol
Peace!
